Perisher Blue covers a wide area and offers
alpine runs, cross country skiing, as well as valley and
bowl skiing. Snow boarding is also popular, with Perisher Blue offering its own snow boarding areas as well as snow boarding
classes.

Perisher Blue village offers a selection of shops selling ski and snowboard equipment, clothing, jewellery and souvenirs. The resort also features a number of mountain restaurants which serve a variety of food and drink. If you wish to cater for yourself a supermarket is available within the Skitube Terminal and an ATM in the Perisher Centre.

Other facilities include a post office, chemist and newsagent. In case of an emergency there is an ambulance service and medical centre.
Accommodation around the resort is slightly more expensive than some of the other nearby areas, although skiing passes and lessons are fairly reasonable.
