Mittagong is very beautiful with plenty of flowers
and mountainous landscape, with various things
to do. The perfect time of year would be around September
and October when they hold their annual Tulip Time Festival. Travelling
west through the beautiful mountains from here you can also visit
the limestone Wombeyan Caves, which are spectacular.
Nearby is Berrima an old town with several small
art galleries and craft fairs still living in the days in which
it was founded. For all those cricket fans a trip to Bowral is
a must. It was home to famous cricketer Sir Donald Bradman and
has its own museum dedicated to the cricketer himself.
