Paluma Range National Park
Paluma Range National Park offers fantastic tropical
rainforest and some great walking tracks around the park. There
are several pretty waterfalls which you can visit, and plenty
of animals to see. There are also a few driving tracks through
the National Park.
You can drive through the Jourama Falls and Seaview
Range along an unsealed road off of the Bruce Highway, passing
the Waterview Creek where you can camp. Camping should be booked
through the parks ranger Ph:(07) 4777 3112.
There are also a couple of routes through the
Mt Spec-Big Crystal Creek. The southern route passes the pretty
Little Crystal Creek on its way to the small village of Paluma.
The northern route passes Big Crystal Creek, where you will find
a campsite, which should be booked at the EPA in either Ingham
or Townsville.
